Exterran has more than 10 years of experience in supplying equipment to Africa. Clients include NNPC, SPDC, ChevronTexaco and NLNG.  We have supplied a wide range of project equipment, including gas compression packages, oil & gas separators, gas scrubbers, gas dehydration units and gas dryers.  We have also provided several lease projects and offer operating and maintenance services in Nigeria.

Successful turnkey projects in Nigeria include:

A self-contained gas compression barge for a gas lift project in the Niger Delta. Facilities supplied included gas compression units, power generation, control and instrumentation, utilities, accommodation module, helideck and maintenance facilities.

Overhaul of an existing gas compression station. Exterran supplied and installed new compression units. The refurbished facility provides a total of 35 mmscfd compressed gas at 250barg for gas injection purposes. Included in the contract was demobilization of the existing compression units as well as installation of power generation, civil works, provision of accommodation facilities and operating and  maintenance service.
